Rookies and roll overs excitement for the night, but it wasn’t the rookies doing the rolling.

The 270 Micro main event was full of action and several roll overs.  That didn’t stop the #10 Lance Bennett from running green to checkers fir the win.  Robert DeRochey #18, finished second with the young Cody Langevin in the 25 on his tail.

The Rocky Mountain Midgets rolled in with ten cars, for their first show at I-76 this summer.  Scott Fennell #33 shot out to the early but couldn’t hold on.  Early in the 5th lap #88 Dustin Weland took the lead.  However, #27 Kieth Rauch wasn’t far behind and passed Weland with #14 Tony Rossi in tow.  When the checkers flew it was Rouch, Rossi, Harr, and Fennell finishing fourth.

Lapped cars put a damper on the charging dwarfs.  Number 55 Andy Rogers led the first seven laps and was tangled with a lapped car when Brady Dilka #30 took advantage and grabbed the lead.  Dilka led until lap 16 when #11 Charlie Drager trapped him in lapped traffic, made the pass and sailed through the last 5 laps for the win.  TJ Trengrove # 5R finished third.

The seemingly ageless and many times track champion #41, Bill Lundock shot out from his front row starting position to lead the Modified main event for the first seven laps.  Mike O’Patik, relentless in his pursuit of a win took the lead in the 8th lap and fought off the hard charging #8H John Hansen and the “Flying J” Jeremy Frenier for his first ever modified win.

Lee Kemmitt #98 IMCA Sport Mod started in the 8th spot and blasted his way to the lead in the first lap. From there he never looked back.  Tom Nelson Jr. #34 finished second.  Steven Lewis #74 crossed the finish line third with #14 Tom Quint right behind.

Last week’s Econo winner Todd Brotemarkle #7 started in the front row only t have a tire cut down in the second lap.  Chad Mann #39 took over the lead with #66 Kraig Thomas chasing him all the way to the checkered flag.  Rick Penneta#85 finished third.

The Hornet division had two new drivers this week, one being #44 Alexis Hickman-Hall, the beautiful young  sister of the infamous Hall Brothers, and the other being #73 Kyle Beck, hailing from Keensburg.                Shane Oknewski #151 won the race, ahead of #5 Cole Hall and#51 Cameron Ratcliff, but the rookies both finished without incident.
